Kathryn Paszkowski

Kathryn Paszkowski is a Consumer Specialist who transitioned into the LTCI industry after a 20-year career in Medical Practice Management, with two of those years in the business office of a skilled nursing facility.

Possessing a high level of experience in counseling patients regarding coverage issues, with emphasis on Medicare, Medicaid and the corresponding rules and limitations of these programs, her transition began as her parents and elder relatives began to have need for long-term care services and hospice. Taking leave from her career to see her mother through passing, as well as the planning for “Medicaid spend down” for an uncle, a passion was borne for the long-term care insurance industry, and she became intent on educating consumers regarding the legacy protection offered by long-term care insurance.

Kathryn has two grown children; Sean and Jared. She lives in Houston, Texas, where she is highly involved in her neighborhood community. She spends her free time with family and friends or working on improvement projects. She enjoys walking, reading, gardening, cooking, home improvement and travel.
